Scott Hayley grew up in Rising Star, Texas. As a kid, he fell in love with ‘90s country music. Some of his favorite artists were Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Brooks, George Strait and Doug Supernaw. During college he discovered the Texas Country Music Scene and identified with red dirt artists such as Kevin Fowler, Charlie Robison, Reckless Kelly and Brandon Rhyder. Although he loved to play guitar and sing, Hayley decided to pursue a career in the oil industry. After 19 of climbing the ladder, he decided to walk away and chase his first passion – music. Gardner started playing at age 9, playing for his church. He then joined some friends and
started rocking with them. By age 16 , Garner joined a little band from Southeast Texas called TRIPLE XXX where he played for better than 10 years. They opened for bands such as the Outlaws, 38 special, Molly Hatchet, Eddie Money and MORE. Gardner moved on to team up with the T-Harvey combo , At that time he moved to Austin TX to be with the band but that didn't last long. He moved back to Bridge City and met up with .. THE DAWGS ..After give or take 20 years of playing with THREE LEGGED DAWG.
he decided to switch it up again. Gardner.'s good buddy and longtime guitarist friend Kevin Miller had called and asked him if he was intrested in travelling again and the answer was an immediate YES!
Gardner hooked up with the David Joel Band and Doug Supernaw, bouncing around Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona in "the rolly house" and RV David had got to tour in. "We set forth on an epic journey, I never realized how much goes into country music drumming ,especially working with such
accomplished artists .." says Gardner. It was a great journey as Gardner feels this new one will be. The band is intact and as strong as it was representing Mr. Doug Supernaw.
